The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again (KASA-2 7pm) Laverne Cox (“Orange Is the New Black”), Victoria Justice (“Victorious”), Adam Lambert (of “American Idol” fame) and Ben Vereen (an actual Broadway star) headline this “reimagining” of Richard O’Brien’s cult stage/screen musical.
An American Girl Story—Melody 1963: Love Has to Win (Amazon streaming anytime) This latest historical-
“Black Mirror” (Netflix streaming anytime) The incredibly dark, fantastically fatalistic and uncomfortably believable anthology about “near future” dystopian technology makes the jump from England’s Channel 4 to America’s Netflix for its third, 12-episode season.
“Ghosts of Shepherdstown” (TLC 3pm) Three lazy paranormal investigators go to Shepherdstown, WV, billed as the most haunted town in America. That way they don’t have to travel across America to not find evidence of ghosts.
“Loosely Exactly Nicole” (MTV 11pm) Comedienne Nicole Byer stars in this scripted sitcom, loosely based on her own life.
DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year (Cartoon Network 4:45pm) DC’s girl power action figure line gets its own animated feature with Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl and Harley Quinn battling baddies with no help from the boys.
“Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” (BBC America 7pm) Douglas Adams’ rather undercooked sci-fi detective novel (borrowed from a couple of unfinished “Doctor Who” episodes) gets fleshed out with a weekly series written by Max Landis (Chronicle, American Ultra). Elijah Wood stars (but not as Dirk Gently).
Rats (Discovery 7pm) Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) directs this “horror documentary” about the history of rat infestations. Based on the book by Robert Sullivan.
Good Witch: Secrets of Grey House (Hallmark 7pm) Despite having turned this annual movie series into a weekly TV series last year, Hallmark still comes out with another Halloween movie about its small-town spell-caster (Catherine Bell).

“Man With a Plan” (KRQE-13 7:30pm) A blue collar dad shockingly finds out that raising kids is hard after his stay-at-home wife returns to the workforce after 13 years. A man taking care of kids? What wacky situations will you think of next, TV? Star Matt LeBlanc deserves better. Then again, he starred in Ed, a movie about a baseball-playing chimpanzee. So, maybe not.
“2016 World Series: Game 1” (KASA-2 6pm) It’s official: Summer is over. Put away your barbecue grilles and turn on some football.
“Adam Ruins Everything: Election Special” (truTV 8pm) Really, we don’t need your help on this one, Adam. We’re doing fine all on our own.
