Friday 2

The Wrong Bed: Naked Pursuit (Lifetime Movie Network 6pm) After losing her job at an insurance company, Stella Williams (Jewel Staite, “Firefly”) wakes up naked in a hotel room handcuffed to sexy firefighter Owen Michaels (Corey Sevier, “Cedar Cove”). Phone messages left by themselves the night before reveal that their lives are in danger, and they must go on the run to puzzle out what the hell happened. Believe it or not, this is based on the “Wrong Bed” book series.

“The 76th Annual Peabody Awards” (KNME-5 9pm) PBS honors outstanding work in news, documentaries, entertainment, children’s programming, educational programming and public service. Sorry, Lifetime Movie Network, you’re gonna have to wait until next year.

Dumb: The Story of Big Brother Magazine (HULU Streaming anytime) The crass, nudity-and-stunt-filled early-’90s skateboarding magazine that inspired such cultural hallmarks as MTV’s “Jackass” gets its own documentary.

“Billy Dilly’s Super-Duper Subterranean Summer” (Disney XD 5am) In this new toon from animation vet Aaron Springer (“SpongeBob SquarePants,” “The Grim Adventure of Billy & Mandy,” “Gravity Falls”), a 7th grader and his lab partners find themselves trapped at the center of the Earth after a science fair project goes very wrong.

Sunday 4

“Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special” (Nickelodeon 5pm) In this live-action special, a bunch of Nickelodeon stars (I don’t know any of them, and neither do you) celebrate summer at a sleep-away camp where they are attacked by some legendary creatures who haunt the campsite.

“Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly” (KOB-4 6pm) Having been dumped from FOX News in the wake of the Roger Ailes sex scandal, Megyn Kelly heads over to dirty, liberal broadcast TV for a weekly newsmagazine show.

“American Ninja Warrior: USA vs. the World” (KOB-4 7pm) Hey, we may not have a wall between us and Mexico yet, but at least we can beat other countries at an obstacle course race. … Let’s hope.

“The Leftovers” (HBO 7pm) HBO’s super-glum, super-mysterious end-of-the-world drama comes to an end with a worldwide flood … or something.

“Comedy Central’s Colossal Clusterfest” (Comedy Central 11pm) CC’s three-day comedy and music festival gets condensed into an hour and a half.

“I’m Dying Up Here” (Showtime 8pm) Showtime dramatizes the world of standup comedy in 1970s Los Angeles. Melissa Leo (Oscar winner for 2010’s The Fighter) headlines the ensemble cast as a cutthroat comedy club owner.

If You’re Not in the Obit, Eat Breakfast (HBO 6pm) Legendary writer/comic Carl Reiner hunts down several celebrated nonagenarians to show how rewarding our twilight years can actually be.

“Devil’s Canyon” (Discovery 8pm) Can’t get enough of docu-reality shows about people prospecting for gold? Well, maybe this will be enough to sate your lust, weirdo.
