Proto-Beatnik biopic finds Ginsberg, Kerouac involved in murder most foul

Kill Your Darlings plays out like a coming-of-age tale wrapped in a dark murder mystery. It’s set in 1944 when Allen Ginsberg was a freshman at Columbia University. Along with pals Jack Kerouac and William S. Burroughs, Ginsberg is still a decade or two away from igniting a literary firestorm.
