West Beirut

During the 1975 Lebanese civil war, three young friends roam the streets with their tiny Super 8 camera recording life in a city now torn in two. There is a Christian-controlled East Beirut and a West Beirut run by the new Muslim militias. With schools shut down, this political schism seems like nothing short of freedom for the three youths. Before long, however, bombs, curfews and growing religious conflicts drastically alter their innocent lives. In Lebanese with English subtitles. 105 minutes
