The Corporation

This lengthy documentary uses assorted talking heads (Michael Moore and Noam Chomsky among them) to examine the predatory practices of the modern American corporation. If corporations have all the rights of a U.S. citizen (a distinction they've enjoyed since the late 1800s), then what kind of person are they? Rather psychopathic is the conclusion here. The film wanders off subject occasionally, employing some unnecessary visual stylistics, but it emerges as a disquieting, ostentatious and ultimately sobering indictment of the world's most dominant institution. 145 minutes
