Unable to afford Jim Carrey after a decade of stardom, producers of this cheapjack sequel tapped TV prankster Jamie Kennedy. Kennedy stars as a cartoonist whose baby son has inherited the wacky powers of The Mask, much to dismay of the family's dog, who wants it for himself. ... No, I'm not making this up. This one's way more cartoonish than the first, and aimed largely at little kids (and adults who miss that dancing baby from "Ally McBeal," I guess). 86 minutes PG.
