A surprising hit on the film festival circuit (where it grabbed Audience Choice Award at the 2005 Sundance), this is a rough-and-tumble doc about paraplegics in wheelchairs who play full-contact rugby. The film isn't your typical feel-good film about "differently abled" people. Some of the subjects are abrasive, all are aggressive and the sporting sequences compare to the hard-hitting football scenes in The Longest Yard. Scattered throughout, though, are emotionally affecting personal stories and a unique look at overcoming extreme odds. 88 minutes R.
