This bleakly funny, touching, tense drama from filmmaker Hany Abu-Assad explores the friendship of two Palestinians recruited to become suicide bombers in Tel Aviv. It's a tricky subject matter, but the film does a fine job of contextualizing the politics and of creating believable, thoughtful characters. Though the film never really answers any hard questions, Abu-Assad skillfully manages to both sympathize with and condemn his protagonists. In Arabic with English subtitles. 90 minutes PG-13.
