A shy cookware saleswoman (Queen Latifah) is mistakenly diagnosed with a terminal illness and decides to get her groove on, taking a long-dreamed-of vacation to Europe. Bafflingly enough, it's a remake of a classic 1950 comedy starring Sir Alec Guinness. It's directed by Wayne Wang, who used to make interesting films like Dim Sum, Smoke and The Center of the World. Lately, though, he's directed pap like Because of Winn-Dixie and Maid in Manhattan. 113 minutes PG-13.
