16 Blocks

Bruce Willis plays an aging, burned-out cop who--while heading home for the day--gets a last-second assignment. All he's got to do is drop off a fast-talking witness (Mos Def) at the courthouse. Hell, it's only 16 blocks away, what could go wrong? Turns out, of course, there are all kinds of evil forces dead set against this particular witness making it to court alive. The movie is your standard-issue cop thriller, but Mos Def adds a bit of personality to the proceedings, proving he's America's best rapper-turned-actor. 105 minutes PG-13.
