This allegorical drama takes us inside a derelict oil tanker, anchored somewhere in the Persian Gulf. There, a community of squatters representing Iran's ethnic Persian minority has been marginalized right out of the county. This makeshift society of seagoing outcasts is ruled over by the tough but benevolent Captain Nemat (veteran actor Ari Nasirian). Their rusty utopia is threatened, however, when the captain's young protégé falls in love with a woman whom the captain has already promised to an older man. Could revolution be far behind? In Persian with English subtitles. 90 minutes Unrated.
