Heroin Town

After watching a story on "60 Minutes" about America's heroin capital, documentary filmmaker Josh Goldbloom decided to go to the city of Willimantic, Conn., and see for himself how bad the "scourge" of heroin had actually gotten. What he found stood in bold contrast to what Dan Rather and crew had "exposed." The director (a recovering heroin addict himself) soon found himself living in the notorious Hotel Hooker. With camera in hand, he gained the trust of not only the hotel's long-standing residents, but the mayor, the citizens and the town's clergy. 82 minutes
