In the span of a mere two days "musicians and moving image artists, both veterans of the past year and newcomers alike, will conjure new association between the best in both cinematic image and non-diagetic sound." Wow, I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds cool. From what I can gather, the cinema-mad folks at Basement Films are back to, once again, combine silent assembled imagery and found footage projection with live soundtracks. On Friday, it's "K Lobotomy" and "The OVX2 w/ Alchemical Burn f/ Film Loops by bpg." On Saturday, it's "Shoe Shine Cinema: Confusion is Sexy Performed by a Henley/Konefsky Tango" and "We Drew Lightning w/ Visuals by Vadi Grontis."
