Magical realism returns to theaters with this romantic drama about Grecia, a young Mexican woman (Sendi Bar) fatefully tied to the sea after her parents are drowned at a young age. She grows up beautifully and becomes the object of affection for two brothers. Unfortunately, one of them drowns under mysterious circumstances, leaving poor lonely Grecia ostracized by her small community. One day, a photographer (Johnathon Schaech, That Thing You Do!) wanders into town and is instantly smitten by the girl, causing her to question the local superstitions.
