The UNM Fair Trade Initiative is partnering up with UNM Sustain, Vegetarians and Vegans of UNM, and the American Medical Student Association to bring you the Fourth Annual Sustainability Film Festival. This year's theme is our relationship with food. There will be guest speakers from local farms to give added insight into the issues addressed in the films, as well as raffle prizes from local businesses. The event is free, though donations would be appreciated. Among the films to be screened are Black Gold (about fair-trade coffee), California and the American Dream: Ripe for Change (about the industrialization of farming), The Future of Food (exposing the truth behind genetically engineered food) and Go Further (biodiesel).
