Guild Cinema rustles up a collection of dark Western dramas from the Hollywood heyday of the '40s and '50s. Friday and Saturday it's a double-feature of Robert Mitchum vehicles: Raoul Walsh's New Mexico-shot noir Western Pursued and Robert Wise's gritty range war flick Blood on the Moon. Sunday and Monday, it's Nicholas Ray's genre-bending classic Johnny Guitar and Anthony Mann's psychosexual drama The Furies. Tuesday and Wednesday finds William Wellman's grim literary-adaptation of The Ox-Bow Incident teamed up with Wellman's bank-robbers-in-Death-Valley thriller Yellow Sky. Catch 'em all, partner.
