Self-proclaimed "9/11 Republican" David Zucker (formerly of "Airplane" fame) apparently hates Hollywood (not including himself, of course). Here, he vents his newly conservative spleen all over the left-wing, Prius-driving entertainment industry by concocting a scattershot spoof of A Christmas Carol. In this version, a fat documentary filmmaker named Michael Malone (get it?) tries to abolish the Fourth of July--because, you know, all liberals hate America and want to see it destroyed. Over the course of a magical night, however, some patriotic ghosts (like country singer Trace Adkins) take our Obama-loving protagonist to the World Trade Center site. He sees the error of his ways and becomes a rabid conservative. That sounds like wacky fun, doesn't it?83 minutes PG-13.
