Just when you thought the Asian horror remake craze was at an end, it sneaks back into theaters. Here, we have an American redux of Kim Ji-woon's beautiful, surreal and totally confusing 2003 Korean pic A Tale of Two Sisters. Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events) stars as Anna, a teen girl who returns home from a psychiatric hospital in the wake of her mother's tragic death. There, she discovers her mother's nurse (Elizabeth Banks) has moved in and is now engaged to dear old dad (David Strathairn). As if that weren't bad enough, mom's ghost returns to warn Anna that her soon-to-be stepmom is filled with evil intent. 87 minutes PG-13.
