The Windmill Movie

Filmmaker and Harvard instructor Richard P. Rogers tried for 20 years to make a documentary about his own life growing up in the overprivileged Hamptons. He died in 2001, leaving the project unfinished. Rogers' widow, photographer Susan Meiselas, commissioned one of Rogers' former students to finish the project. The result is a curious "found footage" mixture of voyeurism and self-loathing. 82 minutes
