The Big Uneasy

Well-known "mockumentarian" Harry Shearer (This Is Spinal Tap) gets serious for a moment and directs this documentary about life in post-Katrina New Orleans. Shearer, a longtime Big Easy resident, profiles two investigators and a Army Corps of Engineers whistleblower to find out what caused the levees to break. There's also the bigger question of whether it could happen again. Pal John Goodman hits the street of New Orleans to speak to ordinary citizens and find out why they choose to live in a city below sea level and what they're doing to recover, five years on. 95 minutes
