Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Short, environmental, outdoor films from around the world are gathered onto one screen to "inspire your activism." Among the shorts screening this time are "180 Degrees South" (about an epic 1968 journey across Chile by two determined surfers), "Open Spaces" (documenting the untold stories of acclaimed snowboarder Mike Basich) and "One Percent of the Story" (explaining the growing financial movement by businesses to create a healthy planet). This traveling film festival is sponsored by the South Yuba River Citizens League, Patagonia and the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance. Log on to for more info. 127 minutes
