I Am Secretly An Important Man

Before his somewhat inevitable suicide, poet and writer Steven J. Bernstein (aka Jesse Bernstein) was apparently one of Seattle's most celebrated (and troubled) voices. His angry, lyrical words about drifters, drug addicts and other lost souls formed the backbone of what became the grunge movement in the early '90s. Sillen digs up some lo-fi archival footage of Bernstein and wallows deep in the man's tortured personal life (mental illness, drug addiction, the usual).
