Bad Posture

This slice-of-life, shot-in-Albuquerque indie is a blackly comic drama/romance about a newly unemployed slacker named Flo (screenwriter Florian Brozek) who spends the summer with his troublemaking best friend Trey. When Trey boosts a car, Flo is overcome with feelings of remorse and embarks on a vision quest to locate the car's beguiling female owner. The film features "an entirely New Mexican cast composed mainly of real people playing versions of themselves in fictional situations." Director Malcom Murray does an amazing job of capturing Albuquerque in all its dusty, lazy, University area rent-party glory. 93 minutes
