When a cautious, anal retentive 27-year-old (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, his loudmouthed best pal (Seth Rogen) steps in to help out. The film walks the line between rude comedy and sentimental drama, and does a commendable job of finding the balance.
