Wreck-It Ralph

This computer-animated Disney toon does for video games what Who Framed Roger Rabbit? did for cartoons. John C. Reilly voices the title bruiser, the villain from an old, 8-bit arcade game. Weary of hassling his game's wholesome hero, Ralph busts out and tries to become the good guy in a different type of game. 108 minutes PG.

    This was a fun movie. But one obvious thing leaps to mind when you watch it: Disney, if there was ever a time to show Tron again, this movie was it, and this movie is way better than the "real" Tron sequel from a couple years ago.

    I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the director wanted that too but it got scrapped for some unspecified (probably dumb) reason. Maybe in Ralph's sequel...

    I even got sad when Ralph smashed Vanellope's kart. But the first thing I thought of was: this is basically a remake of Tron without a human protagonist. and with poop jokes.
