Not Fade Away

TV guru David Chase writes and directs this indie drama about a group of young people in 1960s New Jersey struggling to make it as a rock band. He staffs this bittersweet, rebellious and rather predictably romantic film with unknown faces (John Magaro, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote), giving it a certain realistic charm. 112 minutes R.
