Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino unleashes this manic mashup of Spaghetti Western and blaxploitation revenge. Ostensibly a remake of Sergio Corbucci's bloody 1966 Western, the film's actually a dark, hilarious, explosive and sometimes brutally dramatic tale of an escaped slave (Jamie Foxx) who teams up with a very polite bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz from Inglourious Basterds) to rescue his wife from a nasty plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio).
