The chameleonic Denis Lavant (Mr. Lonely, Tuvalu) is Monsieur Oscar, a shadowy character who spends his day from dawn to dusk assuming a dozen different identities. Touring Paris in the back of a limo, he changes costumes, jobs and names. Sometimes he's a banker, sometimes he's a beggar, sometimes an acrobat. What's it all mean? No idea, but it's dazzling.
