Federico Fellini's semi-obscure 1957 masterpiece has been restored to its full-fledged glory with this recently remastered print. Guilietta Masina contributes a heartbreaking, but unsentimental performance as a naive prostitute on the streets of Rome looking for true love. This one floats somewhere between the Neorealist films of post-war Italy and Fellini's later, more fanciful ruminations. In Italian with English subtitles. 117 minutes
