In the 1970s, a gay couple (Alan Cumming and Garret Dillahunt) fight the American legal system to keep custody of an abandoned, mentally handicapped teenager (real-life actor with Down syndrome Isaac Leyva) who comes to live with them. Yeah, it's melodramatic, but the script is sensitive and Cumming is expectedly wonderful. 91 minutes Unrated.
