Much Ado About Nothing

Director Joss Whedon decided to have a little fun after shooting The Avengers, so he got a bunch of actor friends together and shot a modern-set version of Shakespeare's wordplay-filled romantic comedy at his house over the course of a week or so. Amy Acker ("Dollhouse"), Alexis Denisof ("Dollhouse"), Nathan Fillion ("Firefly") and Clark Gregg (The Avengers) are among the Whedonesque cast members. The plot, in case you fell asleep in freshman English, is about two pairs of lovers—one madly besotted with each another and one engaged in a "merry war." 107 minutes PG-13.
