An 18-year-old, ultra-Orthodox Hasidic Jew in Tel Aviv (Hadas Yaron) is forced to marry her older sister's widower (Yiftach Klein). Or is she? Although this realistic observational film is the first feature directed by an ultra-Orthodox woman, it's hard to figure out where Rama Burshtein's drama comes down on the issue of arranged marriage. It seems faintly, tacitly critical. But the characters are so silent on their situation, and the view so anthropological, who can say? In Hebrew with English subtitles. 90 minutes PG.
