This documentary recounts events surrounding the deadliest day on the world's most dangerous mountain, Pakistan's K2. In 2008, 11 climbers perished returning from the titular location. The film bounces between objective and subjective points of view, interviewing those who survived and using actors to recreate many of the possible scenarios that lead to the tragedy. Unfolding like a a horror movie, the film doesn't offer many concrete answers as to why. But it does offer a harrowing portrait of the extreme danger in high-altitude mountain climbing. 95 minutes R.
