Vivian Dorothea Maier was a nanny who worked in Chicago in the 1950s. She was also an amateur street photographer who snapped thousands of images of people and cityscapes in mid-century Chicago. Amazingly most of her work remained unknown and undeveloped until is was discovered by a Chicago historian and collector in 2007. This documentary looks at the artist's life and the posthumous fame of her photographic images. 84 minutes Unrated.
