Producers of this all-but-unknown Bible-thumper are belatedly trying to exploit their Academy Award controversy. (The film's "Best Original Song" nomination was rescinded on "ethical grounds" after illegal campaigning was exposed.) Tracy Leininger Craven's controversial (arguably racist) book of the same name gets turned into a low-budget historical drama about some cute little blonde girls who are kidnapped by savage Indians in 1755 North America. See, they're alone, but not alone (because God is with them). 103 minutes PG-13.
