Director Adam Rifkin (The Dark Backward) points his camera at pal Giuseppe Andrews. A one-time teen actor (Independence Day, Detroit Rock City), Andrews now spends his days making demented experimental films. A mash-up of John Waters, Harmony Korine and Werner Herzog, Andrews is a genuine undiscovered auteur of madcap nonsense. Rifkin follows the outsider artist and his "seriously impaired" troupe as they attempt to shoot their latest two-day, Theater of the Absurd opus, "Garbanzo Gas."82 minutes Unrated.
