Wondering why times are missing?

When Ephraim, an Ethiopian boy, is sent from his homeland to live with distant relatives, he takes his beloved sheep with him. One day, his uncle announces that he will have to sacrifice the sheep for an upcoming religious feast—but Ephraim is ready to do anything to save his only friend and return home. This gentle, observational debut effort from filmaker Yared Zeleke was the first Ethiopian film ever to play at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. In Amharic with English subtitles. 94 minutes Unrated.
