Farm & Table restaurant (8917 Fourth Street NW) made it onto OpenTable’s list of 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America 2017!

Rio Bravo Expansion

Rio Bravo Brewing Co. will be opening a new restaurant called the Burger Stand in June or July. Until the kitchen opens, it will be operating a food truck at the brewery (1912 Second Street NW).

We Know Our Barbecue

Local restaurant Pepper’s Ole’ Fashion Barbecue (301 San Pedro NE) won the Cooking Channel’s “Big Bad Barbecue Brawl” competition. Nice work!

Soulfood of Art

Meow Wolf (1352 Rufina, Santa Fe) is spreading its expertise to include the culinary arts with its “Trinity Kitchen,” a food truck serving cajun favorites (something you don’t see too often in the area). The soft open is May 22, with the grand opening on May 26.

Nachos For the Win

Las Cruces' El Patrón Café (1103 S Solano, Las Cruces) was featured on Thrillist’s “21 Best Nachos in America.”

Funds to Fight Food Shaming

Local hosts of the radio show “Shut Up and Talk” LB Johnson and Robert Gipson are putting on a fundraiser this Thursday, May 11 at Burt’s Tiki Lounge (515 Central NW) to help pay for APS’ lunch debt. There will be a comedy show, musicians, and prizes to raffle off. Doors open at 6pm.
