Bosque Brewing Co. Goes Green

Kudos go to Bosque Brewing Co. for stepping up their environmental sustainability game. Bosque recently partnered with Soilutions, a local food composting service, to begin composting 100% of their food waste. They’re the first brewery in the city to do so.

Beer and Beef, a Match Made in Heaven

In another instance of local business power coupling, Black Angus Steak House and Rio Bravo Brewing have partnered to create a four-course dinner that’s expertly paired with different beers from the Rio Bravo taps. When It’s Your Job to Bring Cookies to the Holiday Party

You could go buy a pound of butter and turn your kitchen into a floury mess by baking some holiday cookies at home. If you’re not exactly the baking type, though, consider placing an order with a local bakery—either Burque Bakehouse (4321 Ellison Street NE) or Alchemy Confections Co. (alchemyconfectionco.com)to get some of their holiday cookies just when you need them. Alchemy will even deliver treats right to your door (assuming your door is within the Albuquerque metro area).

Ethiopia Dinner at Farm & Table

How many opportunities do you have to eat Ethiopian food in Albuquerque? Not many, I’d say. Which is why Farm & Table’s Ethiopian dinner is worth showing up for. Guest chefs Rahel Fikre-Selassie and Adrian Perez join Farm & Table Chef Carrie for an authentic Ethiopian meal paired with wine, followed by a traditional coffee ceremony. This one-night-only event takes place at Farm & Table (8917 Fourth Street NW) from 6 to 9pm on Monday, Dec. 11. Seats are $75. Make reservations by calling 503-7124.
