Their food is so so at best, but they DO have good shakes,,,,,,,,,,,,,WHEN the damned machines are working! The one by Nob Hill, and the one at San Mateo near Academy, are broken more that they're working! I always ask first, if the machine is working. If NOT, BYE BYE! If I owned the franchise, or was the manager, I think I'd be a little PISSED at how much business is going somewhere else because if it!

I worked at Baskin Robbins as a teenager and our shake machine would frequently "stop working" from time to time. This usually happened after we had cleaned it and didn't want to be bothered with cleaning it again before the shift changed. The same thing used to happen with the hot fudge warmer...
