Crawlspace
Slip on your 2005 edition Alibi knee pads and get ready to crawl the streets of Downtown during this Saturday's Fall Crawl--bringing more smokin' hot live music to Albuquerque than you can shake a chili-flavored Slim Jim at.
The Real Side
Quit whining, ya filthy liberals. It's your own fault the Living Wage proposal on last week's ballot failed.
Waiting for the Flood
Intrepid Alibi reporter Christie Chisholm digs into the controversy surrounding Pond 187.
Restaurant Review: Vincenzo's Fine Cuisine
Vincenzo's Fine Cuisine is just like that charming--if somewhat embarrassing--dork you used to date back in high school. Who knew that goofball would one day grow up to become such a tasty dreamboat? Yowzer. Get me a fork. I'm hungry.
Video Review
Even if you've never suffered the urge to dress yourself up in a big metal suit and harass a grizzly bear, Project Grizzly still might tickle your fancy.
Gallery Review: Growth
Check out the strange and otherworldly organisms growing out of the wall at the Yale Art Center.

In Memoriam: 145th Memorial Day Remembrance

Memorial Day, originally called "Decoration Day," was proclaimed an official holiday on May 5, 1868 by Army General John Logan. On this day, the flag of the United States is kept at half-mass until noon in remembrance of those who have lost their lives in service of our country, and then raised back to full-staff for the remainder of the day as an inspiration to the living to continue to fight for liberty and justice. The flags on the historic Old Town Plaza in Albuquerque have observed this tradition for 145 years and will fly proudly once again this year. Join the City of Albuquerque Cultural Services Department today for a special day of remembrance. The flag ceremony will begin at noon and will be followed by special dance performances from local groups. Professional dance company Ballet en Fuego will take the stage at 6 p.m. and Grammy nominee Micky Cruz will perform at 7 p.m. Old Town Plaza • Fri May 24 • 'Til 9 pm • FREE • View on Alibi calendar

The Daily Word in launch pad for lease, park flasher, glow-in-the-dark cockroaches

    The Daily Word

British police arrested two men on board a Pakistan International Airlines plane that was diverted to an airport near London.

Bernalillo corrections officer said he was fired over medical marijuana use.

Finally what I've been looking for: The NASA shuttle launch pad is up for lease.

As if cockroaches weren't disgusting enough, now they glow in the dark.

Cibola High School teacher was arrested yesterday on charges of criminal sexual contact of a minor.

What a nice day at the park, too bad that flasher had to come ruin in.

Scientists may finally know why we itch.

    Friday is for space pictures.

Two-In-One Date Night: Jersey Boys at Popejoy

The Jersey Boys at Popejoy Hall offers you two shows in one, a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical and a pop concert, perfect for spending a night along memory lane with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Fans will reminisce over songs such as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and prom-time favorite “Oh What a Night.” Prepare yourself for a night of excitement while reliving the rise of these young men from blue-collar Jersey streets to worldwide pop stardom. This international sensation and Las Vegas hit has been described as a “wild” night of mayhem.
