How ironic that in the 1960s and 1970s, folks demonstrating were largely the "children of privilege" backed by veterans, and persons of color. Their very vocal and aggressive foes back then were the middle class, blue-collar workers, and of course, the blue meanies. Today, witnessing the Occupy Movement, we see the "children of privilege" as the very vocal critics and rabidly pro-establishment faction, along with the blue meanies of course, but the middle class, blue collar workers, middle class, etc. are the people demonstrating along with the other constant, the veterans and persons of color.
