The more I think about it, the more that caption pisses me off. Why is it that to be a liberal one must think that the problem (whatever it may be) is intrinsic to the West? Can you provide a reasoned argument for why the age of consent should be 18? Thought not. So it's your ideology, and your conclusions are not reasoned.

I'm being totally sincere when I ask this question, "What, exactly, is it about this State that causes it to score at the bottom of nearly every important ranking (education, financial prosperity, welfare, crime, drunk driving, etc.)? Is there a culture of failure here? This state is turning into Mexico, and it seems that we'll soon be sharing their standard of living.
