The ambiance is decent -- cute bar area -- food is nothing great -- wine isn't much better. Come on.... they have a frozen "wine-a-rita" on the wine list......that says it all. I liked this joint better when it was the original Rio Grande Cantina. Re: Chef Du Jour
My sister said this place was all the rave... so we all went out expecting an extraordinary dinner. Well, after a so-so dinner, we order dessert and another bottle of wine. Well finishing dessert and paying our bill, the waiter/owner informs our table that we need to wrap things up and get going because they have other customers waiting. Shocked... the other two couples walk out as I sit with my husband and rush to finish our bottle of wine with the waiter/owner standing over us. I've had better service at the snack bar in the bowling ally. To our surprise, when we walked out there was no wait nor did we witness any other table rushed to finish their meal. Seems like we were not the right crowd for this place. |
