yeah go home immigrant  [ Tue Mar 2 2010 2:08 PM ]

I guess it doesn't matter to you if people break the law. I guess you don't care about illegals in our country sucking up our resources and benefits healthcare etc and taking our jobs and screwing up the language so we won't even be able to understand each other. You don't care about the law do you?

yeah I cared about it, you guys sucked up all the resources, broke the treaties and agreements we made with you and screwed up the language and forced your own on us without even trying to learn ours. Oh and you gave us crap small pox blankets.

octopus car wash  [ Tue Feb 2 2010 3:59 PM ]

In my experience, the octopus employees are not the most careful people. They sorta rush through things quickly, using rags on the car outside then inside without regard to scratching tint, etc. They broke my visor.

Great video  [ Tue Mar 2 2010 7:41 AM ]

I've seen and thought it was so awesome.

Are you the Dan Enger from Taos? As in the artist?

nice assessment  [ Thu Jan 21 2010 3:38 PM ]

I agree with you and I liked the movie for what it is. Also, the movie was written and directed by a white guy, who else was going to be the protagonist? It is a blockbuster too with tons of money behind it, so you have to market to the largest possible population, white people.

The arguments about the film being unoriginal are pretty lame. Apparently these people have not watched a movie. Hollywood creates in formula because that whats audiences want. People who are arguing about the story being rehashed have clearly not thought about the films they watch. They ALL adhere to the same structure. It's just how creative can you be within that structure.

Zappa  [ Mon Nov 23 2009 1:35 PM ]

I was sitting in a restarant called Liberty D's in Norman, OK when I first heard Frank Zappa. I had never heard the music before and this was the day he died. It was the most bizarre music I had ever heard.

yep yep  [ Mon Nov 9 2009 1:19 PM ]

You're Native American? I had no idea. By birth?

yep Native thru and thru.

Variety  [ Sat Nov 7 2009 10:16 PM ]

I'd have to go with Variety on this one. The industry professionals rank us third. Proximity to LA and westerns surely is a bonus also one thing that is being overlooked are the Native actors and filmmakers in this state. That sorta thing cannot be duplicated.

it's their fault  [ Sun Nov 8 2009 10:53 AM ]

they unleashed the wrath of the lobo

actually I did read the previous posts...  [ Sat Nov 7 2009 2:38 PM ]

Read all of the threads, not just the latest ones, to prevent looking like a total asshole before you attack what you believe as being "faulty logic."

What was discussed is how racism, name-calling, pestering, harassment, etc. are all deep-rooted institutions in the military. You'd catch just as much shit if your name was Jack Smith, because now you're from Kansas (hypothetically), therefore you sleep with your sisters and fondle farm animals, etc. Everybody is subject to a a brutal attack as being part of the process. Having that name is no different in inviting those attacks. As does being from Kansas. As does being overweight. I'm sure you see what I mean.

...and you still managed to make a really illogical argument that I proceeded to point out. Also you're assumption that a really boring person from Kansas would get as much harassment as a Muslim in this type of politically charged climate is naive at best, idiotic at worst. I think youre confusing racism with negative stereotypes.

what?  [ Sat Nov 7 2009 2:34 PM ]

I heard you were offended by racist terms in blogs so I wrote "cracker", "nigger", "spic", "heeb", "raghead" and "slope" in this post so you could be offended while you blogged.

What in the hell are you even talking about? Nice try at irrelevance, you succeeded!
