Why end the current DL law when it is great for the New Mexican economy? Illegal immigrants from around the US come here and spend their money to illegally purchase a NM license. They pay for hotel rooms, food, gas, etc. Not to mention the conspirators they pay to use a NM address. NM and criminals are making money off of this. What a deal! It has made NM a joke AGAIN! There are people from all over the US who make a fortune by driving illegals all the way to this state because of the simplicity of obtaining a state ID/DL here. Governor Martinez understands this and should be honored! Unfortunately, people who actually know little about what goes on with this issues are the ones who fight her changes the most.
