We Don't Need No Education [ Tue Feb 1 2011 7:13 PM ]
Kudos to Erin Adair-Hodges for the excellent article on proposed state funding cuts to CNM. She described me, a fellow adjunct faculty member, perfectly. She also succinctly described the majority of my students. As the main breadwinner in my household, I see my work at CNM as community service. I support this costly habit with 3 additional part time jobs. Although I am worried about my future at CNM, I am even more concerned about the futures of my wonderful current and potential CNM students. Thanks, Erin, for giving us a voice.
Love this!! Thanks for the peek inside. Hope this venture is very successful and an indicator of good things to come for ABQ. You can sense the care and innovation that went into this even from the outside. The ghosts must be proud of their new digs.
