Truth & Justice [ Fri Apr 24 2009 8:33 AM ]
Bravo! This is what I was saying all along and you picked it apart and spelled it out perfectly. Bent knew what he was doing was wrong, he knew the consequences and yet he did it anyway. He is right where he belongs! And you know, I think it was pretty selfish of Bent to disregard the law for the sake of the Spirit of God. (If this is truly what happened-I don't believe it) He should of been man enough to walk away and know that he was doing the right thing.

I've been a frequent poster on Beyond90seconds.com and I guess I have never seen a post from TT. CryTears, maybe once or twice. Would this also be the person that posts under WhisperWind?? I agree with you on the fact that people have a right to their own religion and I too am fascinated by their lives. It's the kids that pull on my heart strings. I have shared several emails with one of the members of SC, trying to understand their beliefs and how they live. She is an extraordinary woman and I've learned a few things from her and even about myself. I appreciate that.
Me? [ Thu Apr 23 2009 5:57 AM ]
What first drew me to this story was the program "Inside a Cult" on National Geographic. When Esther and Danielle were in the kitchen washing dishes and Esther was speaking about Michael's post being naked & unashamed in front of God, I knew right at the moment this was going to bring them trouble. The second was Esther fasting. That girl was slowly killing herself and nobody was doing anything about it. When the police came and took her I was standing at my desk doing the "happy dance" because I knew she wasn't going to die. My daughter is close in age to Esther and my heart just ached for her, I felt helpless.
Truth&Justice is right, call it whatever you want but consummation is what it is. When you look up the word in the dictionary it says, consummation is the first act of intercourse between two people. I am curious to know why 'some' of the women have had several so called consummations with Bent. How many healings does a person need?? If this was just a group of adults, I wouldn't give a load of dirt what they did. But these beautiful young innocent children, it makes me so angry. Knowing these mothers have slept with Bent and then encourage their daughters to be naked with him. I don't get it, I just don't get it. I thank God that my parents never got involved in anything like this and that I had the childhood that I had.

It sounds to me like Twinkletoes may know Wendy or her family on a personal level and is appalled by her behavior. I don't think this person had anything to do with Mark taking a break from Beyond90seconds.com either. He has taken on a job that requires him to drive over 150 (can't remember extact) miles a day round trip. He has a lot on his plate right now.

shows their true color and how they speak to people and yet they want acceptance. I wonder why miss Wendy had to have SEX with Bent several times, is that how long it takes to be "healed". You can't tell me there was no pleasure in it for either of them. And this is what I don't understand about them. They can't be married because men and women just use each other but the women can have sex with Bent and Bent only. So what do all the other men do? And please don't tell me nothing because I would never believe it. Do the explode...implode??
Thank you Maren! [ Tue Apr 21 2009 5:45 PM ]
For doing the article on Strong City and allowing us to post. Many of the comments posted here have been submitted to their website but they do not put them up. The only comments you will see them post are positive (and those are few and far between) otherwise it's just them commenting on their own articles. I will never understand that bunch, ever. I don't believe that I need to divorce my husband, turn my back on my daughter/family/friends, live in a campground at Strong City and have sex with an old man just to get to heaven. My husband and I are both 48 years old. We have one daughter who is 25, married and expecting her first child. My husband and I don't use each other or take each other for granted as the LORites seem to think married couples do. We both have great jobs, we live comfortably but were not extravagant people. We are looking forward to our new grandson in July and hopefully retirement in the next ten years. My husband and I are very blessed, we take nothing and no one for granted. We are both Christians, attend church weekly and love our God. I couldn't imagine walking away from my life to live like they do. What's so funny to me is the guy they think is their first class ticket to heaven is sitting in prison. |
