The service is always SLOW but Saturday evening was ridiculous. Just because there was a private party doesn't mean that you ignore your regular customers. Food is not that impressive and certainly not worth that indifferent service.

We tried this place on Thanksgiving for the first time. It was terrible from the moment we walked in. The large tables squeezed into the middle aisle. The restaurant was empty and stayed mostly empty even though we only had one time as a choice for a reservation?? No bread was served with soup or main course. Though the server was nice, she still got items wrong. By only 3pm they had already run out of horseradish potatoes according to the server - BUT most of us actually GOT horseradish potatoes, unfortunately. Stuffing was dry and salty. Osso bucco was odd - more like turkey pot roast. And as hard as it is, they messed up the pumpkin pie. Way too sweet and in a phyllo(??) crust. Very disappointing.

We had slow indifferent service - and there was no one else there. The food was pedestrian, dull, bland and not like any decent Vietnamese I've had for the last 20+ years. The portions were skimpy in size and heavy on the CHEAP ingredients. Never returning here. Last edited [2/22/09 10:17 AM] |
