Local blues rock guitar hero Ryan McGarvey—who's shared stages with legends of the genre and toured Europe multiple times in the past year—revels in the release of his second album, Redefined, at Santa Fe Sol (37 Fire Place, Santa Fe) tonight at 8 p.m. Go to the show—admission only $10—so you can say you saw the globe-trotting musician before he was super famous.
Exactly one year after releasing its first album, Chopping Trees, Burque indie rock band Willy J and the Storytellers is ready to let loose its second collection of tunes. The 10-track album—recorded at Stepbridge Studios in Santa Fe—is titled Reflections. Frontman Willy J says the CD release party at Low Spirits on Saturday with The Marabout Saints and Daniel Park is going to be a ragin' good time. Admission to the 21-and-over ragin' good time is $5.
