Exactly one year after releasing its first album, Chopping Trees, Burque indie rock band Willy J and the Storytellers is ready to let loose its second collection of tunes. The 10-track album—recorded at Stepbridge Studios in Santa Fe—is titled Reflections. Frontman Willy J says the CD release party at Low Spirits on Saturday with The Marabout Saints and Daniel Park is going to be a ragin' good time. Admission to the 21-and-over ragin' good time is $5.
New York indie pop band The Pains of Being Pure at Heart makes a shimmery stop in Santa Fe Tuesday in support of its new album Belong. The band plays with fellow New Yorkers, moody electro shoegaze act Twin Shadow.
